Aunjanue E. Taylor Aunjanue E. Taylor, an American producer and actor, is known for playing in the movie Ray Undercover Brother as well as on The Mentalist. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in African-American Studies at Brown University and also a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Aunjanue l. Ellis, an American producer and actress who has been in the theater and TV and films as also, has been actively involved in both the film and theater screen. Her career began with theater, and was later featured in several television series and independent and mainstream movies. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico and was a part of BET's epic series The Book of Negroes for that she was not only rewarded with critical acclaim but also a number of awards and nominations including the Television Critics Choice Award nomination for the Best Actress in a Movie. In 1995 she debuted in the role of Ariel on the stage in The Tempest. The credits on stage comprise Come and Gone Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis, a Broadway production directed by Joe Turner. Film-wise, she's best known for parts like Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. Her part as a regular on the drama series High Incident on ABC High Incident earned her praises.
