Anne Celeste Heche was an American actress known for her work across a range of genres in film television and the theater. Her awards include the Daytime Emmy Award, a National Board of Review Award as well as many other awards. Anne Celeste Heche was an American actor. She died on August 11, 2022. Her first role was as twins Vicky Hudson & Marley Love in the soap opera Another World from 1987-1991. The show won her a Daytime Emmy Award & two Soap Opera Digest Awards. The latter part of the 1990s saw her rise to prominence with her roles in the crime drama films Donnie Brasco and Volcano, the horror film I Know What You Did Yesterday Summer as well as the comedy about politics Wag the Dog. Anne Lockhart, born Anne Kathleen Maloney in September 1953, is an American actress. She is most famous for her role as Lieutenant Sheba of the Battlestar Galactica TV series from 1978 to 1979. She's the daughter and granddaughter of actor Gene Lockhart. Lockhart was only a few years old when she began her acting career. Her first role came to her when she was just four years old for T is for Tumbleweed. The film, which was a short one subject, was selected for the academy award. The actress accompanied her mother on the film set, where she learned about the inner workings of the industry. Lockhart has even appeared in numerous Lassie episodes. Dora in Jory in 1973 was her first film. The Sixth Sense was a television show that aired in 1972. She was 18 years old, she portrayed Joan Crawford, Joan's daughter. The show was Joan's final role as an actor. Anne turned down Laurie Strode's role in John Carpenter's Halloween 1978. Jaime Lee Curtis later was the actor. Carpenter says that the actress declined his invitation to portray Laurie Strode. Anne isn't aware of being approached by John Carpenter or being offered the job. Perhaps her agent turned the part down without informing Anne. Glen Larson sent her an early draft of a script that she was to use as an actor in the 1978 television series Battlestar Galactica. She initially rejected the part due to the fact that she thought that the character wasn't strong enough. Glen then wrote a script for her which starred the strong character Sheba. The Living Legend, the first twenty-five pages of which she read, was immediately accepted. It ran for a single season. She appeared in Joyride (1977) the film in which she co-starred as well as acted in alongside Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith, Robert Carradine.
